Due to countless frozen pitches on Saturday only one Portishead Town men’s senior game was played.

In that match, the A Team from the club took a trip to top of the table Uphill Castle Football Club where they earned their first win of a tough season against top of the table.

The end result was 4-1 in favour of Portishead and the win was well deserved and should be a catalyst for the rest of the season.

The side featured 5 lads who were playing u16 last year, and have really risen to the challenge of men’s football. (Allal, Barrett, Boyd, Jeston & Keough).

And in the match Will Price scored an impressive hattrick.

The club said: "We are so proud to see such talent working their way through the Player Pathway. A young side with a really high ceiling and we look forward to seeing them growing together and beyond!"
