Clevedon Town have strengthened their squad with two new signings.

Their first new arrival is Kieran Ireland, who has arrived from Toolstation League rivals Wellington.

The midfielder was injured at the start of the season and coincidentally started his comeback in Wellington’s 5-0 defeat at the Everyone Active Hand Stadium in October.

But he has been an ever present since has now joined the Seasiders after four goals in 11 games for the Tangerines.

"Kieran is a top signing for us," manager Alex White said.

"He’s impressed on a couple of occasions he’s played against us and a lot of good things have been said about him.

"He’s the perfect age and ticks a lot of boxes for the type of player and person we want to work with. He will give us something we don’t have which gives us more options and he’s coming here to play and add quality to an already talented group. I’m so pleased to get this one over the line

Clevedon have also re-signed midfielder Cam Salmon for a short spell until the New Year when he will move to Australia after his Tiveton Town release.

Salmon, whose last game for the Seasiders was the 1-1 draw with Bridgwater United in April, will give the Town options and looking to add to this 33 appearances and five goals.
