Nailsea Ladies held their last event of the year with their Fun Day as four teams arriving in their secretly themed fancy dress to play in a mini tournament.

The teams were; Father Christmas, and Elves Christmas Presents, Angels and Chocolate Heroes. And it was the Heroes who were triumphant without conceding goals after wins against Father Christmas and Elves (2-0), Angels (3-0) and Presents (4-0) before beating Elves in the final 3-0 to win the tournament.

Afterwards there was a match played between the partners, parents and supporters {Men} and Nailsea Ladies senior players, which they won by a scoreline of 2-1.

Stef Dewer opened the scoring for the men but the Ladies replied when Lucy Crimmons beat goalkeeper Matt Hole before they sealed the win through Eleanor Hobbs, in what could be her final game for the club.

Hobbs joined Nailsea as a junior and progressed through the ranks to become a valuable first team member and is taking her next steps in a medical career.

Next year Nailsea celebrate their 100th anniversary with social events and special matches leading up to a celebration evening in September.
