Counties 1 Tribute Western North: Midsomer Norton 22-31 Nailsea & Backwell
Nailsea & Backwell RFC's dream start to the season has continued after they defeated Midsomer Norton at the weekend.
It now means the side has won all seven of their opening league fixtures in the Counties 1 Tribute Western North division and sit firmly atop the table.
This match wasn't all smooth sailing as the score of 22-31 suggests, but Nailsea & Backwell did enough to seal the win away from home.
In the match, Luke Sharp opened the scoring with a try for Nailsea in the fourth minute. Adam Grafton converted to make it 7-0.
That was the last score in the half for the visitors as Midsomer Norton fought back, however in the second period Nailsea showed why they are unbeaten.
Two tries from Benjamin Perfect, and one a piece for Luke Caswell, Connor Mobbs and two conversions from Grafton sealed the win on the road.
Up next for Nailsea & Backwell is an away trip to take on Chipping Sodbury on Saturday, November 4.
