Chairman's XI took the bragging rights with victory by three wickets against Presidents XI in their annual match at Clevedon CC’s Dial Hill in front of huge crowd.

The Presidents XI got off to rapid start with Iraq Thomas scoring 54 off 17 balls, with five fours and four sixes before retiring. 

Jon Shepherd then scored 47 off 62 balls with seven fours.There were other contributions from Ben Hazeldine (17), Matt Carpenter (16) and Archie Miller (14). 

The Presidents XI finished on 169 all out with Cam Jenkins taking 4-17, Josh Jenkins 2-3, Unwin 1-13, Oliver Jenkins  1-13, Bayley Wiggins  1-18 and Morgan Jenkins 1-21.

In reply the Chairman's XI opened with Paul Jenkins and Andy Caddick. They put on 51 for the first wicket before Andy Caddick was out for 22 who was stumped by Hazeldine off the bowling of John Bachelor. 

Paul Jenkins went on to score 48 off 34 balls with eight fours and two sixes.

After a mini collapse Wiggins came in and scored 42 not out off 22 balls with two fours and three sixes to take the Chairman's XI home.

The pick of bowlers for Presidents XI were Tony Dauncey who took 3-33, other wickets taken by John Bachelor with 1-11, Ashley Vailes with 1-24, Mike Lowis 1-22 and Archie Miller 1-26.
