St Andrews Bowls Club Ladies picked up silverware after they celebrated winning the Open Triples Tournament recently.
The competition, which is now in its 13th year, saw 24 teams from clubs around the area enter at the home of Clevedon Promenade Bowling Club.
And after a hard-fought contest it was the club from Weston-super-Mare who picked up both the trophy and prize money, and thanks to Clevedon Prom's sponsors - The Hawthorns Clevedon Independent Living Retirement Community -, they received an additional prize courtesy of a complementary meal for six at The Hawthorns.
The prizes were presented by Customer Service Manager Aggie Jasinski to winners Jackie Pitman, Ann Campbell and Karen Cromey.
The popular annual event is a friendly but competitive opportunity to play bowls and enjoy the sport, and Clevedon Promenade are most grateful for the support they have received from their sponsors and the local clubs who enter.
