Clevedon CC recorded successive wins in WEPL Prem 2 Bristol & North Somerset after beating Midsomer Norton by five wickets at Dial Hill last Saturday.

Midsomer Norton batted first and were all out for 137 with Cam Harding (5-24), Max Horton (2-27), Matty Carpenter (2-27) and Iraq Thomas (1-16).

In reply Clevedon won with 26 overs to spare with Louie Woodland scoring 50 off 61 balls, Harding 34, Bayley Wiggins 27 and Tyler Leaman 25 not out.

This Saturday, Clevedon travel to Golden Hill looking to build on their good run.

Clevedon Seconds fell just short after they were beaten by 16 runs at Pak Bristolians.

Clevedon elected to field first and Pak Bristolians scored 230-7 with Jack Davey (2-15) and Fraser Caddick (2-52) among the wickets. There were also a wicket apiece for James Caddick, Jacob Lillington and David Clarke.

In reply Clevedon were on target to win, with Scott Ford scoring 54, Marc Jenkins 45, James Caddick 42 and Jake Brand 21 not out but Clevedon finished on 214-8 to fall just short.
