The race consisted of mainly Celtic longboats with a small contingent of Cornish Pilot Gigs adding up to 90 rowers for the whole event.

All crews competed the course well within the allotted three hours with the fastest crew, Llanion winning the race in a remarkable two hours and 20 minutes.

Clevedon Chairman, Scott Ferrier, heaped praise on the organisers and supporters for the success of the event:

He said: “I am humbled by the efforts that our members have gone to ensuring the success of this event.

“I am also extremely grateful to all of the suppliers and outside organisations who have done their bit to help. Without the following good people, we just would not have been able to hold our event.”
