Clevedon Golf Club's Past Seniors Captains held their annual 18-hole competition and lunch recently.
Reg Wiles won the Hagley trophy for the second time with an impressive 40 Stableford points off a handicap of nine.
"It is something we arrange every year with the Hagley trophy up for grabs as well as a good opportunity for a social get together for both playing and non playing former Captains" Rick Smith, who was Captain in 2020 and 2021, said.
"There is almost a 40 year age range between the youngest and the eldest who participated so it's great to hear how things have changed and evolved at the club in that time."
Current Captain Chris Attwood guested and gave a talk on the success of his programme of match fixtures for 2022. A popular fish and chip lunch, concluded proceedings which was enjoyed by all.
