Clevedon Town manager Alex White said their focus is on their Emirates FA Cup preliminary round replay with Cirencester Town this evening, with a place in the first qualifying round up for grabs.

The Seasiders were drawn out of the hat on Monday afternoon and will be on the road to take on either Larkhall Athletic or Cowes Sports.

The Yachtsmen play at Westwood Park and compete in the Wessex League Premier Division while the Larks play at Plain Ham and compete in Southern League Division One South.

The two sides drew 1-1 with each other on Saturday as Owen Taylor’s 87th-minute free-kick cancelled out Harrison Catania’s fantastic goal from outside the box.

Clevedon, similar to Cowes Sports, conceded a late equaliser from the Centurions’ Joe Shepherd after Ethan Feltham had opened the scoring.

The winners of each of the 112 first qualifying round ties will receive £2,250 from the prize fund with the losers receiving £750.

All matches are scheduled for the weekend of September 2-4.

And White said their priority is this evening’s cup replay and once that is out of the way everything else will follow.

“Really our focus has to be on Wednesday night in the replay,” he said.

“We know we have to be at our best to win the game and if we take our eye off the ball and think too far ahead then we’ll lose focus on the task in hand.

“If we do the business on Wednesday then it’ll be a new ground for us to visit either way. Either a day out at the Isle of Wight with Cowes or a more local trip to Larkhall.

“Naturally we know a bit more about Larkhall than Cowes but we’ll start worrying about that if we get over the line on Wednesday.”

When asked what his thoughts were on the replay, White added: “It’ll be be tough. I think we caught them by surprise a bit on Saturday and it naturally took a lot out of us, so we have to pick ourselves up and go again.

“We were great on the weekend and while we rode our luck at times we have a score to settle because we are still aggrieved with the way they equalised in the dying minutes with their lack of sportsmanship not giving the ball back to us when we kicked it out for an injured player.

"But we have to use that as motivation now to go and finish the job off."
