Nailsea & Backwell Colts won all four of their matches at the Gordano 10s tournament on Saturday.
After a long Covid-enforced lay-off, the youngsters enjoyed some excellent results on their return to action.
Having spent the summer implementing the successful playing structure adopted by their senior counterparts, the colts took to the pitch in the shortened format and delivered fast and accurate rugby.
N&B played with more width and guile than their opponents could handle, as the players linked up extremely well and looked comfortable in the face of some heavy defence from their rivals.
They beat hosts Gordano 33-0 in their opening fixture, then saw off Clevedon (19-0), North Petherton (17-0) and Frampton Cotterell (15-7) for a perfect record.
And with a packed season schedule ahead of them, N&B host their first full 15-a-side game against Gordano this coming Sunday (September 12, 2pm).
