Clevedon AC travelled to Pittville Park in Cheltenham for their second race in the Gloucestershire Cross Country League on Sunday.

The women's race took place first consisting of two laps around an undulating section of the park, including a chilly stream crossing.

Everyone made it through safely and first home for the team was Natalie Southernwood in 31 minutes exactly, followed closely by Joanne Gallagher in 31.12 as first F45.

Next to finish was Laura Meech (31.44) and then new member Frances Crozier, completing her first race for the club, in 32.19.

Tracy Allen (34.14) was second F55 athlete, ahead of third F55 Helen Ball (36.16) and Sally Richards (38.54).

The men ran three laps with Ben Burns continuing his strong racing form and first home for Clevedon in 40.51.

There was a tight race between Jack Richardson (41.36) and Steve Wood (41.37), who was third M50, followed by Lee Southernwood (42.36), Matt Crocker (44.29), Gary Lewis (46.09), second M60 Clive Richards (47.38) and Tom Abrahams (48.50).
