Archant

Youngsters pretended to be munchkins, wizards and witches at the latest production from The Story Cellar.

Children got to grips with the classic tale of The Wizard Of Oz, a book by L Frank Baum.

The group devised, danced and laughed their way through the munchkin song.

The story follows Dorothy, a young girl who is whisked off to the mysterious land of Oz in a tornado and, with her dog Toto by her side, must defeat the Wicked Witch Of The West and find the wizard to get back home.

The children performed for their friends and family at St George’s Church Hall, in Easton-in-Gordano, after just two days of hardwork and creativity.

The next project for The Story Cellar is The Lorax and other Dr Seuss Tales on May 29-30.

If you would like your child, aged six to 11, to join in, email liz@thestorycellar.co.uk
