YOUNG musical talent was showcased during the annual Backwell Festival on Saturday.
Held at the village junior school throughout the afternoon and evening, the event featured an acoustic and a main stage with a huge variety of music performed on both.
Twelve live acts put on sets for the crowds, including up and coming local stars such as young teenage jazz singer Kodi Mortimer, and soul singer Rosie Southern
