Young chef’s cook up a storm

YOUNG cooks took over a kitchen in a bid to gain their chef badge.
Under the guidance of group scout leader Simon Kelly, members of 2nd Clevedon Scout Group prepared a meal as part of their work toward achieving the award.
To gain the badge, scouts must discuss where to buy food, demonstrate proper storage and cooking, create a three-course menu and cook it, as well as planning a full, balanced menu for a small group of scouts for at least one weekend.
