AN AVID writer from Wraxall has penned a thriller about a psychic who helps to track down serial killers.

Julie Howlin, aged 54, has published her first novel Death and Faxes which is now available at Amazon.

The book is about Tabitha, a young woman, juggling her career, love life and extraordinary gift.

Tabitha is in demand from the living and the dead to track down a serial killer.

Most of the book is set in London, but the sequel - which should be published in the next couple of months - will be based in Glastonbury.

Julie said: “Writing has been my hobby for many years but it’s only relatively recently that I started letting people read what I’d written. When enough people said they really liked it, and that I should do something with it, I finally gained enough confidence to go for it.”

The second novel is called Glastonbury Swan and also features Tabitha who is attending a course in Glastonbury with her friends when tragedy strikes. Death and Faxes is out in paperback and as an e-book.
