Karina Carver, aged 56, who works at Annabel House Care Centre, is taking on the challenge on April 20 to raise money for a charity which supported her schoolfriend Wendy Harris who died from multiple sclerosis in August last year.

Karina, who went to Nailsea School with Wendy, is also hoping to raise awarness of MS.

She said: “I hope many friends will feel able to contribute generously as all funds raised are used to help support people with MS and their families.

“I am paying the £270 for the jump myself and therefore every penny raised will be donated to the MS Society.
