AN INCIDENT which saw a car collide with a pedestrian in Clevedon is being investigated by police.

At about 10.20am on Monday, a woman was stood in a parking space in The Beach to reserve it for her elderly grandparents when another car began driving into the space.

According to the victim, the driver refused to stop and she was forced to hit the vehicle with her hand before it then hit her leg.

Police are hoping to speak to the driver of the car, which is believed to have been a grey Volkswagen Golf.

The driver is described as white, in his late 50s, of medium build, with grey hair and wearing glasses. His female passenger was white and of a similar age with blonde hair.
