A NAILSEA business is offering free home checks for the elderly and disabled to make sure they keep warm this winter.
West of England (WE) Care and Repair, based in Somerset Square, is offering to carry out checks on loft insulation, water tanks, pipes and boilers as part of its winter warmth campaign.
Craig Wilson, from WE Care and Repair, said: “This year we are encouraging homeowners over 60 and disabled people of all ages to contact us to book up a free winter warmth home check-up.
“As well as giving you advice on any essential home maintenance you may need we are also giving out free packs to people in need which include a hot water bottle, snuggle blanket, socks and gloves, and an insulated cup.”
