A Pill business woman has launched an online competition to sell her £1million home.

Tricia Hamilton is inviting people to guess where her hat is to be in with a chance of winning her 19th century cottage and its half acre of land.

The mum-of-two has spent 1,500 hours working on the project which has already seen more than 25,000 people register their interest.

MORE: Tricia first announced her plan in August last year.

Tricia, who owns hat-making business Tricia Designs, hopes to use the money to reinvest in her business and move closer to her family in London.

She said: “It has been hard work but good fun. It’s a great talking point when I meet people.

“It has involved planning the process from scratch, following up on gambling guidelines, discussing it with a variety of professionals, responding to queries and much more.”

The property, called Roselands, is a four-bedroom cottage located in Pill and boasts 17 rooms across three floors, including three bathrooms and two reception rooms.

It is fitted with solar panels and also has a vegetable garden. The lucky winner will even have all fees and stamp duty paid for.
