Free gym and spa memberships to two leisure centres up for grabs

A pair of leisure centres are calling for people to get more active, giving away hundreds of pounds worth of memberships to mark England’s exciting start to the World Cup.
Legacy Leisure – which operates Scotch Horn Leisure Centre, in Nailsea, and Backwell Leisure Centre – has prizes worth £400 to give away.
Up for grabs are 10 30-day passes, which can be utilised at both leisure centres simultaneously.
The prizes, worth £40 each, offer winners the chance to sample the wide range of facilities available including dozens of pieces of gym equipment, a swimming pool and a luxurious health suite.
The manager of the leisure centres, Mel Procter, said: “Our aim is to encourage everyone to become more active by offering a variety of fitness facilities for the whole community to enjoy.
“We are very excited to team up with the Times to celebrate World Cup fever by giving 10 readers the chance to try our facilities at Scotch Horn and Backwell for 30 days for free.”
Scotch Horn Leisure Centre, in Brockway, is home to a 48-station gym and a 16-station weight gym – plus excellent facilities for group classes like spinning.
Backwell Leisure Centre, in Farleigh Road, boasts two swimming pools and a health suite featuring a sauna, a steam room – in addition to a 17-station gym.
The Times has teamed up with Legacy Leisure to offer 10 lucky readers a 30-day pass, worth £40 each, for Scotch Horn and Backwell leisure centres.
