Win an annual leisure centre membership or one of 10 daily passes.

Two leisure centres have teamed up with the Times to give readers the chance to win an annual membership.

Legacy Leisure, which runs Scotch Horn in Nailsea and Backwell Leisure Centre, is offering a year-long membership for one lucky reader, and 10 day passes for the runners-up, to celebrate its annual fitness open day.

The membership includes the use of both centres, with a 50-station gym, 20-station free weights gym and support and guidance from fitness professionals.

The lucky winner will be able to take advantage of more than 50 fitness classes per week, a swimming pool, a health suite and racket sports.

The annual membership is worth £400. As a consolation prize, Legacy Leisure will give 10 day passes to the runners-up.

Backwell Leisure Centre, in Farleigh Road, and Scotch Horn Leisure Centre, in Brockway, are hosting a community open day on October 27 from 10am-4pm.

The event encourages everyone to get active for free and the centres will offer swimming, fitness classes and access to the gym.

Families are welcome to pop in during the day to try out different sports and have a go at the exercise classes on offer.

Scotch Horn has two impressive gyms equipped with cardio equipment and free weights, and a variety of classes ranging from pilates and Zumba to spinning.

Backwell Leisure Centre features a 25m swimming pool, a sauna and steam room, four squash courts, a gym and a multi-purpose function room/studio.

The Times has teamed up with Legacy Leisure to offer a 12-month membership and day passes.
