A WINTER lottery has been set up in Nailsea to give people the chance of winning a mad dash around Waitrose or a romantic meal for two.
The Winter Fundraiser Lottery 12 is being organised by Nailsea Miners, a new Rotary group set up by the Rotary Club of Nailsea and Backwell.
First prize is a two-minute trolley dash around Waitrose in Nailsea, second prize is a meal for two at the new Cherry Duck Harbourside Bistro in Bristol and there are two third prizes of �25 Waitrose vouchers.
Tickets are �1 and can be bought from Hudson Accountants, of West Town Road, Backwell.
The draw will take place at the Nailsea Chamber of Trade meeting on January 15.
All the money raised from the event will go to Rotary charities, including the GI Trust which helps street children in Uganda.
