FREE dance lessons are being offered to people in Clevedon who want to take part in a mysterious event.
As part of efforts to encourage more community spirit in the town in the run-up to Christmas, a fun surprise event is being planned by local writer Russ King and dance instructor Emily Gazey-Mitchell.
Emily said: “We tend to hide away in the winter months with the long evenings but this dance will be a fun way to get fit.
“It is relatively simple and can be done by practically anyone regardless of their natural dancing ability.”
Russ said: “There has been lots of discussion on the social network site Streetlife about what can be done to revive Clevedon town centre and our little adventure is just a first step to helping local traders.
“The dance is very much tongue-in-cheek and the emphasis is on having fun.”
Emily will hold the free dance sessions at her Ylime Dance Factory Studio in Kimberley Road on Tuesdays from 8.15-845pm and on alternate Saturdays from 10.45-11.30am throughout November.
