Theatregoers can expect plenty of laughs when Wife After Death takes to the stage in Nailsea.
The town's Little Theatre is putting on the show, written by the creator of the TV sitcom Rising Damp.
In the show, comedian and national treasure Dave Thursby has died and his friends and colleagues come together for the funeral to pay their last respects.
Dave's widow Laura is determined to give him a grand send-off, but a series of revelations about his dubious past leave guests asking whether they ever knew the real Dave.
And when a mystery mourner reveals even more secrets, it seems Dave is having the last laugh from beyond the grave.
Wife After Death is showing at the Union Street venue from Monday to May 11, with performances at 7.45pm.
The Little Theatre production is directed by Robin Richards and tickets, priced £10, can be booked by calling 07772 981037.
