Young aspiring actors from Portishead were given a demonstration of great drama by a professional at the weekend.

Rhubarb Speech and Drama group welcomed Kane Oliver Parry to Portishead Primary School on Saturday morning.

Kane, who stars in the hit stage show Wicked, ran two workshops for children and showed them a number of tricks of the trade and he answered any questions the youngsters had.

The West End masterclasses were split into two age groups so the activities could be tailored correctly for the children.
