NAILSEA town centre ground to a halt when the local air cadets performed drills in Somerset Square.
The sponsored drill-a-thon by Nailsea Squadron Air Training corps was carried out in front of the public and North Somerset MP Liam Fox (pictured right).
The seven-and-a-half hour display raised more than 1,500 towards its future projects and new squadron building.
Earlier this year the cadets were granted planning permission to build a new complex off Greenfield Crescent, with building work set to start in the coming months.
