People are being warned to expect icy conditions when they wake up this morning (Wednesday).
A weather warning has been issued by the Met Office for North Somerset and the rest of the South West after temperatures plummeted overnight and rain subsequently fell.
A spokesman from the Met Office said: “There is a chance of difficult driving conditions on untreated roads and slippery conditions on pavements and cycle paths are possible.”
The weather warning will conclude at 10am this morning.
