More than 100 Volkswagen campervans are set to cruise around North Somerset tomorrow (Saturday) to raise money for charity.

The Vee Dub Christmas Cruz will see classic VWs take to the streets.

The vehicles will travel from the park-and-ride in Long Ashton to Portishead Lake Grounds, taking in Failand, Tickenham and Clevedon. The convoy will leave Long Ashton at 4pm and celebrations will continue at Café Lido at the Lake Grounds.

Organiser Steve Wright said: “We expect upwards of 150 vehicles to take part and the majority will be decorated with festive lights. The event is collecting presents for Bristol Children’s Hospital and Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary.”
