Long Ashton Community Centre has launched an appeal for volunteers in the lead up to its 60th anniversary.

LA Festival will run in July and encompasses a number of events, including It's A Knockout and Party Night - which the centre hopes people can help out with.

Potential volunteers are being asked to give up two to three hours of their time to make the jamboree a success in Long Ashton.

Around 26 people are needed to cover both the tournament and get-together, with 20 for It's A Knockout and six for Party Night. Those who wish to get involved with running the inflatable course on
July 12 can man the obstacles and record times people complete the trail.

Volunteers are also needed to sell tickets on the door and run the bar at the village celebration on July 13.
