Villagers to question solar park bosses
BOSSES from a solar energy park planned for Backwell will be speaking at the village’s parish council meeting next month.
Representatives from JR Power have been invited to address councillors and villagers at Backwell Parish Council meeting on January 13 in the parish hall, Station Road, at 7.30pm.
The company wants to build a solar park on the north east of Downside, which would cover around 44 acres on the green belt and be close to three homes in the area.
Councillors have invited representatives to talk about the proposal and answer villagers’ questions.
