A COLOUFUL banner was created in Pill’s shopping precinct as part of efforts to mark Fairtrade Fortnight.
Members of the village’s Fairtrade group spent a morning in Baltic Place making the creation from food wrappers.
They also put on food sampling and the nearby Lime Tree café also served Fairtrade goods during the day.
Once complete, the banner will be put up at Crockerne Primary School in Westward Drive, which runs its own Fairtrade tuck shop.
Group member Sue Tuckwell said: “It was a very cold morning but it was very well supported as always.”
