Village green clean up

VOLUNTEERS are being sought for a spruce up of Barrow Gurney village green on Saturday morning, in readiness for the Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

Helpers are asked to bring gardening implements for the work, starting at 10am and adjourning to the Princes’ Motto pub afterwards.

Anyone who cannot make Saturday is asked to help next week by pulling up weeds and raking up.
