VILLAGE GREEN: Volunteers are needed to help tidy up Barrow Gurney village green.
Organisers will be out from 10am-4pm on October 30 to pull up nettles, cut back hedges and branches, rake up waste and weed the playground.
Volunteers are asked to take along implements such as wheelbarrows, rakes, gloves, forks, spades, hedge-cutters, secateurs and strimmers.
Workers will be heading to the Motto after the clean-up to enjoy some refreshments. To take part just turn up on the day.
