VISITORS to Tyntesfield will be allowed a glimpse into a Victorian Christmas this month.
For the first time, the ground floor of the main house at the National Trust estate in Wraxall will be opened to the public in December.
The gothic mansion has been decorated in the way it would have been during the festive period in Victorian times, when the house was in its heyday.
Tyntesfield events coordinator Amy Underwood-Thompson said: “With the house open this year there is a little touch of magic with the feeling that at any moment Father Christmas might appear in one of the rooms.”
To pre-book house admission or for more details visit www.nationaltrust.org.uk/tyntesfield or call 01275 461900.
