Vandals target library

VANDALS caused major disruption at Clevedon Library after cutting through a cable on the roof.

The fibre optic cable is used to provide the building’s Internet and telephone services.

After it was cut, the systems at the Old Church Road building failed at about noon on August 12 and could not be restored until August 15, causing disruption to library services.

Anyone with information about the incident can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
