A BODY was found in a rhyne this morning (Thurs) prompting a police investigation.
Police were called just before 9am by a member of the public who found the body in Strode Road, Clevedon.
Officers attended the scene and the body is due to be recovered by a specialist team.
The body is yet to be identified.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Constabulary said: “We are treating the death as unexplained and an investigation is underway.”
