Two men caught in Portishead loading stolen cement mixer into car

Two men were caught red-handed in Portishead after stealing a cement mixer last night (Sunday).

A 27-year-old and 29-year-old were spotted in the Redcliffe Bay area of town trying to put the item into the back of a car on Sunday evening.

A police spokesman said: “They were caught in the process of stealing the cement mixer and were about to load it into a car which is believed to have other stolen goods inside.”
