STAFF at a Portishead care home helped a resident celebrate her 100th birthday in style.
Elsie May Williams, who reached her century on May 2, had two days of celebrations at Petersfield Care Home. Family and friends joined her for a private party on her big day and staff at Petersfield threw a second party for her the following day.
Elsie said she was proud to receive her letter from the Queen and added: “I’ve had a good life but at my age I can’t remember everything.”
