TV hit to be taken to the stage by drama group

A TV comedy classic will be brought to life in Clevedon next month. The Clevedon Players will present The Further Tales of the Vicar of Dibley from 7.30pm on Thursday until Saturday at the Princes Hall in Princes Road.

This adaptation of the hit show, which ran from 1994-2007, features all of the much-loved characters including Geraldine Granger, Alice Springs Tinker, Hugo Horton and Jim Trott.

The group’s readings and auditions are usually held from 7.30-10pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the Stables behind the community centre in Princes Road.

Tickets for the shows cost £10, or £8 for concessions on the Thursday, and are available from Souk in the Triangle and the community association by calling 01275 873405. For more details click here
