A PORTISHEAD runner completed the London Marathon and raised hundreds-of-pounds for charity.
Tim Haysom completed the 26.2 mile challenge on Sunday in three hours and 29 minutes.
The 43-year-old of Marconi Road managed to raise 500 for Parkinson’s UK, which he chose as the beneficiary as his dad suffers from Parkinson’s.
Tim was one of 178 runners who raised money for the national charity and it is hoped the team has raised more than 280,000 toward its work in trying to find a cure and also improving life for everyone affected by the disease.
