An award-winning West End show will be staged in Tickenham later this month.

The drama group will perform Company at the village hall, in Clevedon Road, from May 21-25 at 7.30pm.

The recent West End revival of this musical has won several Olivier awards and is based on the book by George Furth, with music produced by Stephen Sondheim.

It tells the tale of 35-year-old Bobbie, played by Rose Bowl winner Simon Vardakis, who is hosting a birthday party for three girl friends and five couples.

The show is directed by Owen James and musical director Sue Parker, who worked on the drama group's 2017 production, Into The Woods, which won the Somerset Fellowship of Drama Award for best musical.

The cast are busy rehearsing ahead of their latest production.

Tickets, priced £12, are available at www.ticketsource.co.uk/tickenhamdramagroup or on 01275 852663.
