THANKS to a Radio 4 appeal, more than �20,000 has been donated to Backwell charity Motivation.
Actor and presenter Michael Palin, who is a long-time supporter of the charity, led an appeal for the cause on BBC Radio 4.
The money will go towards supporting people with disabilities in some of the world’s poorest countries including Uganda, Malawi and Haiti.
