More than 15,000 people flocked to the first ever eat:Nailsea festival on Saturday.
Food and drink producers from across Somerset ran stalls and offered samples to hungry visitors at Crown Glass Shopping Centre.
Organisers Bev and Sarah Milner Simonds said they were given a very warm welcome and confirmed they will be returning again next year.
Sarah said: "We have never had such a positive and warm welcome to a new town - local businesses and residents have all been so keen to engage.
"Saturday went very well with a safe, welcoming festival enjoying a big crowd in some great autumnal weather.
"The local producers have all reported back that they had a brilliant day's trade and we saw that many local businesses were busy all day too.
"We hope to make this into an annual event and look forward to working with Nailsea Town Council to deliver another festival on October 3, 2020."
A Portishead event was launched last year, but this August's event was cancelled due to bad weather.
