A COMMUNITY event will be put on at a Clevedon orchard as part of a national initiative.
On June 5, people are being encouraged to take part in The Big Lunch at the community orchard off Brookfield Walk, taking along picnics to enjoy with family and friends.
Starting at 12.30pm, the event will also include a bug hunt competition for children.
Held across the UK, The Big Lunch is aimed at getting as many people as possible to have lunch with their neighbours to encourage more of a community spirit among residents.
