COMMUNITY spirit was the topic of the day during an event in Clevedon on Sunday.
Environmental group, Transition Clevedon, organised a Big Lunch gathering at the community orchard off Brookfield Walk as part of a national initiative.
The Big Lunch was first started at The Eden Project in Cornwall but is now held across the UK every year to encourage people to get together and enjoy lunch with others in their community.
The initiative is aimed at promoting the benefits of people working together and on Sunday, 14 people attended the orchard lunch despite the wet weather.
