Staff from a Clevedon supermarket have been giving the town’s community centre a lick of paint.

About a dozen management staff from the Tesco branch in Kenn Road picked up brushes and rollers to help paint room three of the Princes Hall in Princes Road as part of an ongoing refurbishment of the venue.

The team volunteered to help after the centre invited community groups to assist with the upgrade of the popular facility.

Other plans for the site, which puts on a variety of events and productions throughout the year, include an upgrade to the entrance area, office and main hall as well as the completion of a kitchen upgrade.
