Teenager suffers head injuries after collision with car

A teenager suffered head and leg injuries after colliding with a car in Clevedon this morning (Wednesday).
Police were called out to the accident after reports of a car colliding with a pedestrian on Great Western Road.
The teenage girl was airlifted to hospital for treatment.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset police said: "We were called to reports of collision between a pedestrian and car at about 8.15am on Great Western Road in Clevedon.
"The pedestrian - a female teenager - has leg and head injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening or life-changing."
