Four colleagues raised more than double their target for charity after they rowed, cycled and hiked for nine hours.
Justin Smith, Greg Hanham, Matthew Hatcher and James Rickard took part in the Samworth Brothers Charity Challenge for the Teenager Cancer Trust.
The team wanted to raise £2,000, but they managed to collect £4,485 and finish sixth in the tough category of the competition.
The colleagues chose the Teenage Cancer Trust as Justin’s daughter Laura goes to Nailsea School with Hannah Nicoll who was diagnosed with bone cancer in July.
Hannah is recovering after treatment and is now raising money for the charities which helped her.
Justin said: “We are pleased with our achievement, delighted with those who supported Hannah’s choice of charity and proud that we were able to make a difference to such a worthy cause.
“The challenge was won by the Brownlee brothers, who took time out to send a personal video message to Hannah, wishing her a speedy and full recovery.”
