Taxi firm offers free rides in Clevedon to support hospice

PUBLISHED: 13:00 15 June 2019

A taxi company is offering free journeys within Clevedon to support Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).

Red7s, which is based in Portishead, is offering free rides around the town from Monday until Friday in return for a donation to the Wraxall charity.

The offer is available from 9.30am-5.30pm.

Director of Red7s, Gareth Lee, said: "Our initiative is being launched during Children's Hospice Week but for us we want to forge a long-term relationship with CHSW to assist it in delivering its amazing service.

"Subject to availability, a number of taxis will be devoted to this initiative throughout the week, however, should demand exceed availability there may be a delay or instances where we cannot accept the booking.

"Nevertheless, it is our intention to complete as many of the free journeys as possible."
